Custom 32 Ford Hot Rod
"Rollin Stone", one of the finest nine described by the 57th program at Pebble Beach. It won Street Roadster Class in 1957 NHRA US Nationals in Oklahoma City. In 1979, NHRA invited Carl Stone's roadster to Indianapolis to take part in their 25th National Celebration. The car was used in the opening ceremony with Carl Stone, the owner, chauffeuring Wally Parks and Linda Vaughn down the track. A picture of this event hangs in the Wally Parks Motorsport Museum in Pomona, California. 25 years later, the Rollin Stone was invited to the 50th US Nationals at the Indianapolis '04 where, it represented the year 1957. The roadster was featured in "Hot Rod" magazine in '58 and a one page story in Bob McClury's book, "Diggers & Altereds" in October '04. There are many additional stories about Rollin Stone. Recently, the Rollin Stone competed at the 58th Grand National Roadster Show. The roadster placed first in the following categories: Outstanding Engine Restoration, Outstanding Interior Restoration, Outstanding Overall Restoration and First in Class Award. At Pebble Beach, Rollin Stone received a plaque from Ford Motor for persevering Ford's '32 heritage. Rollin Stone is one-of-a-kind.
