HiTek Hot Rods custom-built 1960 Corvette re-creation turned Resto-Rod. Anchored by a custom frame with C4 suspension and adjustable coilovers, this car has a wicked stance without the need for airbags. Other highlights include drilled and slotted Baer brakes, Billet Specialties Legacy rims, 20" rear and 18" front, stainless steel lines and rounding out this package includes a HiTek Hot Rods custom-built stainless Works exhaust with electronic cut outs, providing a throaty exhaust noise when desired. The running gear consists of a custom-built, balanced and blueprinted 383 Stroker motor linked to a Tremec T56 6-speed with a 3:73 posi-traction rear end. The interior has Custom Euro-leather both on the interior and trunk. Custom made Classic Instrument gauges. Painted in beautiful HiTek red with white coves. This vehicle has won several car show awards and features an outstanding pedigree. It ranked 25th in the nation and 9th in the Central Division for the 2007 International Show Car Association (ISCA). It has numerous Best in Class and Outstanding Mild Sports Awards. It received First Place Hand-Built Sports at the Detroit Autorama and Best of Show Custom Class at the South Bend Cavalcade of Wheels. Additionally, the vehicle also received Troy Trepanier's Top Ten Pro's Pick at Goodguys Indianapolis and Boyd Coddington's Top Ten Pro's Pick at Goodguys Nashville. The year ended with this beautiful 'Vette being a 2007 Featured Vehicle at SEMA for the Hot Rod Industrial Alliance (HRIA).
