Custom 2-Door Coupe
Chopped-top custom 1950 Mercury coupe lead sled with a 3 1/2" chop done by a professional shop in Fresno, CA. 3-year project just completed in August, 2007. Chevrolet running gear, a 396cid V8 backed by a Turbo transmission. Both have less than 500 miles. The car was taken off the frame, sandblasted and painted. The body was stripped to bare metal, primed, sanded and re-sanded for the final 3-stage purple paint and ghost flames applied by Espitia's Pin Striping in Fresno, CA.
