1 of 1,044 "R" Code 1968 fastbacks. Rotisserie restored with original numbers matching drivetrain and top loader 4-speed transmission. 67,000 original miles. The car has the original Buck Tag for the radiator support, right-side dash VIN tag, both inner-fenders stamped with VIN and Ford 999 history to document car. Kevin Marti Deluxe Report documents this car as a true "R" Code. Sold with original dealer's sales invoice, sales brochure and owner's manual. The original engine and drivetrain have been meticulously rebuilt. The engine preserves the correct carburetor, distributor and Ram Air assembly. The Top Loader 4-speed has new gears and syncro assemblies. The rear end has correct NOS 3.50 gears and the correct "R" Code components specific to this car. The steering, brake assembly, suspension and components are rebuilt or replaced. The interior is completely original except for new carpet and is in like new condition. The glass, trim, moldings, head and taillights bezels, etc. are original or NOS. The no rust solid body needed minimal body work and carries the correct Wimbledon White paint.
