This is one of two Chevy SSRs developed for NASCAR Pace Car duty in 2004. In addition to the four NEXTEL Cup stock car races, this vehicle also paced American LeMans races and several late season Indy Racing League races as well as doing parade duty at the 2004 Woodward Dream Cruise in Detroit. 300 bhp 5.3 Liter OHV V8 engine, 4L60-E 4-speed automatic transmission, GM chrome 5-spoke, 19 x 8-inch front and 20 x 10-inch rear wheels, Torsen differential, 3.73 axle ratio, Ground Force front and rear springs, Hand held 2.5 lbs. fire extinguisher and custom pace vehicle strobe lighting package.
