The 1998 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was the leader of the pack at the 1998 Indianapolis 500, the fourth appearance for Corvette. This pace car is essentially factory-stock with minor modifications and strobe lights behind each seat. This vehicle was used for publicity photos and press events only. It was never used on the track. Features: 345hp 5.7 Liter LS1 engine, 4L60-e electronically controlled 4-speed automatic transmission, special radar blue paint with vivid yellow Indy 500 graphics, In-your-face yellow wheels and New JL4 Active Handling Chassis Control System. Limited edition of 1,158 pace car re-creation.
