This red Cameo features a pair of slab sided fiberglass panels that envelopes the pickup bed. This gives the truck a modern and sleek look. It also features unique chrome plated taillights and a rear bumper that seemed to come from a customizer's dream shop. Many feel that the Cameo is the best looking pickup truck ever. It was very limited in production with a total of 1,452 units made in 1956. The Cameo production run in 1956 was the second rarest of its 4 years of production. This Cameo is an older restoration but as you can see it remains beautiful. The red paint still has a deep glossy finish. The chrome and trim items are all in very good condition. The glass is in good condition. The bed is painted white and appears to still have the original wood flooring. Bias Ply wide white wall tires mounted on steel wheels with full face hub caps complete the beautiful exterior of this rare 1956 Cameo pickup. Red and beige interior. Equipped with a 3-speed manual transmission, heater and dash gauges. You will notice this is a radio delete truck. 265 V8 2-barrel engine that has a deck stamping of 04I0f56A. Dual exhaust system. You will also notice that the spare tire container is still in place as well.
