1971 Plymouth GTX Hardtop
The Plymouth GTX was a whole new car for 1971 with a wider lower stance. The GTX was a Plymouth high-performance vehicle. This Yellow GTX 440 6 Pack was rotisserie restored using original and NOS parts. Restored in it's original yellow color combo, listed in Chrysler Registry. There were only 62 cars built this year with a 4-speed Pistol Grip transmission and this car is #25. It is equipped with D-21 Pistol Grip shifter; 4:10 Dana 60 Super Track Pack rear end; spoiler package; Air Grabber hood; rear window louvers. The 1971 GTX was slightly smaller than before rode on a 115 inch wheelbase, and a wider rear track to improve handling. This is possibly the best GTX in existance. Only 2942 units where built and this is a real 440 6 Pack according to Chrysler LLC Corporate Historical Collection.
