Professionally built by Unique Motorcars, one of the oldest re-creation builders in the United States. Founded in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1977 and moving to Gadsden, Alabama, in 1981 to have over 25 years building experience. Many famous celebrities and professionals in the US and Europe have chosen Unique Motorcars to build their Cobra re-creation. Using the finest of materials and technology to hand-build a masterpiece unsurpassed any other builder today. This unique re-creation was built from the ground up with a chassis of 2x4" rectangular tubing with precise detail to alignment, then powdercoated to last a lifetime. A Jaguar IRS rear end with DANA 44 gears can take any power range. Also, a custom anti-sway bar keeps the tires on the ground. The front end has a Carrera coilover front suspension with 4-cylinder Wilwood racing brakes. The engine is a 351 Ford Windsor with hp rated at 300. The engine was built by Glenn Sheppard of Birmingham, Alabama, a builder for short track and drag racing. Bored 10 over with forged flat top pistons, competition cam and aluminum Edelbrock intake with a 600 CFI Edelbrock carburetor. A Mallory ignition system, billet pulleys and a Griffin aluminum radiator with twin fans, to keep everything cool, make for a dependable engine bolted to a C6 automatic transmission. Completely rebuilt with a 1500 stall converter and shift kit makes for easy driving for anyone. The body is molded to represent the original look of the 427 Cobra and fitted with the best accessories available. Leather seats and door panels, a vinyl covered dash with Stewart Warner gauges and wood-trimmed steering wheel makes a great looking interior. Also a custom top with Plexiglas side windows, a tonneau cover and a good size trunk. A 5-point racing harness system, chrome roll bar, ceramic side pipes and deluxe chrome bumpers. 351 Ford Windsor engine bolted to a C6 automatic transmission makes it easy for anyone to drive. Great highway and around town car. Buy pump gas. Not over-powered, but plenty of fun.
