1958 Impala Convertible
$57,000 2008 Barrett-Jackson Auction Scottsdale AZ
Painted with correct color code Cay Coral. The interior is also restored to original colors. Carpet is correct to match exterior. Has custom Chevy cassette deck, Vintage Air conditioning that was installed in 2005, 605 power steering system, as well as alternator replacement. The car has a 348cid engine which is not original, but a '58 engine and 700R4 transmission. Originally had a "K" Code engine with a dealer 4-speed transmission which was retained by the original owner, who was a VP at Late Great Chevy. Has 3 piece front and rear bumpers, automatic electric convertible top, 2-position electric seats, power windows and dual exhaust with 2 1/2" pipe. Single antenna on rear fender. In 2006, there was a complete under the hood overhaul of the 348 engine. Excellent paint scheme. Car wins any show entered.
