The base $2,704 '67 Camaro convertible was lean and aggressive. Adding substance to that appearance was done either by picking or combining individual options or trim packages called RS and SS (Rally Sport and Super Sport). When introduced in September 1966, the Super Sport (SS) option was offered, but only with a 350cid engine exclusive to the Camaro in 1967. In November 1966, the 396cid big block V8 engines making either 325 or 375 horsepower were added to the SS option list also. This very rare coded "RR" Bolero Red convertible received one of those very rare RS/SS 396cid V8 engines (only 2% production) when built in the second week of November 1966, trim tag codes on the firewall confirm. It was further generously equipped with a long list of factory options, such as a 4-speed close ratio manual transmission, power steering, power disc brakes, custom bucket seats, console, gauges, tachometer, power top, walnut steering wheel, Rally wheels, dual exhaust and much more. It has recently received a rotisserie restoration back to its mostly original form and is as fresh as new to enjoy and admire for generations to come.
