This L78 396/375hp with a Turbo 400 and 12-bolt posi-traction. Total restoration on a rust-free car with Canadian GM Documentation and numbers matching. This car comes with the following options: L78 396/375, J50 power brakes, F41 suspension, G80 posi-traction and JL2 disc brakes front. The big change for 1970 was Chevrolet still referred to the engine as the "396" or the "Turbo Jet 400" to take advantage of its name recognition. The 1970 Chevrolet Nova represents the last glory days of the Nova. This was the final year for big block power and many of the high performance options. Nova SS Production of 19,558 of which 3,765 were L78 396/375hp models. Performance of the 396/375: 0-60 mph in 5.9 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 14.5 seconds at 101 mph.
