The 190SL presented here has benefited from a complete mechanical and cosmetic restoration. The restorers started with a very straight, rust-free example showing just 60,324 original miles. All major mechanical systems were rebuilt and the cosmetics restored to as new condition. The white exterior paint is fresh, correct and of high quality. A new correct red leather interior was installed along with new correct square weave carpeting. A new black Hartz cloth convertible top was installed. New fuel tank, new Weber carburetors installed, but if you prefer period correct, no worries-- the original Solex carbs are included. The original radio works; even the original 7-day clock works. Perfect chrome bumpers all the way around. New correct vintage Uniroyal Royal Seal Premium tires were located, completing this wonderful package. The classic Mercedes-Benz Certificate from MB USA is included in the sale. Freshly detailed throughout. This car was rated in #1 condition by "Sports Car Market" before an additional $10,000 was invested. Less than 1,000 miles on all of the above. It has original numbers matching motor.
