This Buick Woody Station Wagon is a great choice for the serious collector. Not only are Buicks currently gaining attention in the marketplace, but these cars are really great drivers with interesting history and are still at ground-floor pricing when compared to Ford and Chrysler Woodys. By 1950, Buick was the last manufacturer producing a Woody, thus making them unique in having more Jet Age styling with the wood panels. Only 2,480 Super Estates like this one were produced in 1950. This car is largely original having been simply loved and maintained over the years. For instance, the paint was refinished in its original Dark Blue, some of the rubber window seals were replaced along with redone trim and upholstery as needed in 1998. The original Straight 8 was rebuilt as well and the car has covered roughly 1,100 miles since. All of the body panels and wood are the original pieces that came on the car. This Super is a really great driver that is extremely presentable and can be enjoyed as it appreciates in value.
