This 1963 Chevrolet Impala Super Sport convertible features the extremely rare 425hp/409cid. This car is the 4-speed, dual-quad, posi-traction 409. This is a frame-up restoration on a nice SS convertible. The 409ci/425hp engine is the correct QB block, an Impala 409/425 4-speed L80 dual-quad, with a '64 date code. Engine was replaced under warranty. A real SS with a real 409cid L80 dual-quad V8 with a 4-speed transmission, power brakes, power top and tachometer. The interior, top, chrome, trim and glass are new. The glossy red paint and red interior is very nice. The undercarriage is nice and dry.
