The 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible offered here has been restored to the highest standard. Since the completion of an extensive nut and bolt restoration in the Summer of 2007, this pristine example has traveled less than 50 miles. Painted in the correct two tone colors of India Ivory and Nassau Blue, which are highly popular colors among collectors. The Bel Air was fully re-upholstered with a matching Nassau Blue and Harbor Blue interior. A bright new white vinyl top was also fitted. All of the brightwork has been plated and/or polished, giving the car that vibrant, just restored look. Under the hood, the car has been modified with a correct 1956 model year 265cid V8 Power-Pack engine, having a 4-barrel carb and dual exhaust. The engine has been completely rebuilt and meticulously detailed. In addition to the standard features, such as Powerglide transmission, power steering and power top, this sporty Bel Air has all the dress-up options and amenities that aficionados desire, such as fender skirts, traffic light viewer and chrome tissue dispenser.
