1957 Oldsmobile Starfire 98 convertible. This J2 convertible is a multiple award winner for completeness and is restored to original condition. It received Best of Class, First Place in category and Ladies' Choice at the 2006 Olds Nationals. Multiple awards for numerous years at Concour D'Elegance 2003, 2005 and 2006. Total frame-off restoration completed in 2003 including the following: Body completely disassembled down to bare metal and repaired as needed. Repainted with epoxy primer, paint and clear coat cut and buffed. All new rubber for the entire car. Glass is all new with correct date code on glass. Chrome has been re-chromed. Stainless has been polished. Interior has been returned to original factory color and grain of leather. Original style of carpet. Frame was dissembled and hot-dipped galvanized. All of the fuel lines, brakes lines and exhaust are stainless steel. Engine totally dissembled and installed to factory specs. Heads rebuilt to accept modern fuel. All three carbs rebuilt to factory and have all of the vacuumed hoses and vacuum canisters from the factory. Numbers matching, 3 1/2 miles since restoration.
