This vehicle formerly owned by William Pettit, owner of the Museum of Motoring Memories at Natural Bridge, VA. In addition to being displayed in museum, it was used by him as his touring vehicle. All mechanical aspects of this vehicle were maintained in excellent condition in order to provide him with dependability during tours. After purchasing vehicle in December 2005, it was stripped to metal, disassembled except for frame off which had previously been done. Professionally repainted Carolina Creme with new and re-plated chrome, top, carpet, tires and wire wheels. This vehicle runs and drives perfectly. This Packard is a rare series model, #2631 with only 750 produced. Packard Registry estimates only 40-44 restored Caribbeans still exist. Original rebuilt 327cid/180hp, 8-cylinder Inline engine, twin spot lights and original signal seeking radio all in excellent condition. Documentation of restoration (pictures) included with car along with original owner's manual, radio and accessory manual, shop repair parts manual and many articles also with this classic vehicle.
