Mint, totally restored to showroom condition. A 1956 California Thunderbird delivered to San Jose, California, May 28th, 1956, per data plate. Beautiful rust-free body with a total body-off restoration. This was a meticulous restoration performed by ASE Certified professionals to Ford original and Classic Thunderbird Club International specifications. This restoration has just been completed with only test miles on the Thunderbird. This T-Bird is original in every way with the exception of the Ford-style air conditioning and new Goodyear radial whitewall tires and Thunderbird wire wheels which meets CTCI specifications. This Thunderbird boasts the finest, magnificent Thunderbird Torch Red paint. The interior is all new, red and white and Ford original. The V8 312cid engine was totally rebuilt with new pistons, valves, springs, bearings and gaskets. The automatic transmission was also totally rebuilt. From bumper to bumper, everything is new or totally rebuilt with no expenses spared. This Thunderbird is full power: power steering, power brakes, power windows, power seats, all new. The Ford Town and Country Radio was thoroughly reconditioned by Thompson Radio. Both tops, including port hole hard top and white convertible soft top. Beautiful Continental Kit, fender skirts and window wings. This beautiful Thunderbird, restored to correct, Ford showroom conditions, CTCI specifications.
