Total off-frame restoration which took 2 years to complete. The frame has been cleaned, blasted, sanded and painted base black and clear coated. All suspension parts have been replaced and have been painted base black and clear coated. Five new 7.50x14 Firestone wide white wall tires, engine, transmission, rear axle, drivetrain fuel system, cooling system, power steering and power brakes have been replaced or rebuilt. A new exhaust system was installed from engine to rear. Stainless steel brake and fuel lines, wiring harness, bulbs and switches are factory replacements. It has the complete engine and body decal kit. All electrical components have been rebuilt. Also the seat, window and starter motors has been rebuilt. The car has new upholstery and trim, new carpet and padding with heat shield kit. Windshield, door glasses and wing windows are also new. NOS wheel covers. It also has all new dash trim, knobs, bezels and pads. The car has chromed front and rear bumpers. All stainless moldings have been buffed and polished. New original type black canvas softtop and new weather striping on a black powdercoated frame. The hardtop is white with portholes. The body has no repair panels or sheet metal. This 1957 'E' T-Bird is painted Dust Rose base and clear coated. It has been driven less than 50 miles since it was restored. I have shown this car four times in 2007 and it won First in all four shows. Atlanta, GA, VTCI Southeast First Place and Best of Show (296 point out of possible 300), Newbern, NC, AACA National Spring First Place, Richmond, VA, AACA 39th First Place and Best of Show, and Harrisonburg, VA, AACA Old Dominion 54th First Place.
