Our 1966 Chevy II is a beautiful vehicle new in every piece and detail. This car was debuted at the SEMA show in Las Vegas. The modifications to this vehicle are too numerous to name. The front clip was switched to the better looking 1967 model. All the suspension has been updated and improved. A Chris Alston sub-frame was powdercoated and installed. Then chrome upper and lower control arms were added with powdercoated spindles, sway bars, drilled and slotted 13" billet Wilwood brakes and billet coilover shocks from VariShock. The sub-frame was tied to a Chris Alston back half witch features a narrowed Fab 9 that's been powdercoated and stuffed with 3.55 gears, Richmond posi-traction, Strange axles, Wilwood drilled and slotted disc brakes, coilover shocks and a triangulated billet 4-link suspension. With the car now being on a full frame, we moved on to installing a great powertrain. We put a Fuel Injected 502 Ram Jet big block Chevy making over 500hp in it followed by a 6-speed transmission. Billet Specialties takes care of the pulley system with there all billet Tru-Trac system. The motor has chrome Fuel Injection and is painted Candy to match the two tone paint on the car. The body modifications on this car are both numerous and subtle. The most obvious mods being the shaved mirrors, smoothed gas door and single pane side glass. The interior is of the finest quality and style in the industry. It was done by legendary Tracy Weaver of Recovery Room Hot Rod Interiors whose cars have won over a hundred awards. This '66 Chevy has air conditioning, navigation, 8 JL speakers, three 10" JL subs, and two JL amps for superb sound quality.
