Has the RP0Z15 LS5 option, 360hp 454 V8. The casting number is 3963512 and casting date B-9-0, February 9th 1970, corresponds with the built date which was the last week of April 1970 in Baltimore, Maryland. The transmission is a close ratio Muncie M21 which is the one used with a 410.1 ratio rear axle gear. The casting numbers again correspond. The rear end is a 12-bolt with a new posi-traction unit and new gears with corresponding dates codes. The exterior is finished in data tag code 78 Black Cherry iridescent with all the latest high tech materials available. Data tag code 756 states it has black bucket seats, console interior and a black top. This vehicle is well equipped with power steering, power disc brakes, power top, special instrumentation, gauge and tachometer package, Cowl Induction, new date coded Soft Ray tinted glass, hood insulation, courtesy lamp package with trunk and under hood lamps, twin outside mirrors, and rarely seen AM/FM. The SS glamour package includes a muscle hood and pins, sport stripes on the deck lid and hood, bold blackened grille, resilient rear bumper insert, SS deep dish Rally wheels, raised white letter wide oval tires, wheel opening moldings, and SS stripes and badges. The performance package offered up the special heavy-duty suspension, disc brakes, 12-bolt rear axle and 4-core heavy-duty radiator.
