This car is without a doubt, one of the finest Yenko Chevelle's in the world. No issues! Yenko Sports Cars, Inc. produced approx, 99 L72 427CI 450hp COPO 9562 Chevelle's in 1969. Less than 1/2 are found and accounted for, and only a fraction of those are the desirable and Ultra Rare 4 speed, M21 Manual transmission versions.
This makes Yenko Chevelle's much more rare than even the revered 1969 Yenko Super Camaros! This particular Yenko also features a second Copo Suspension Option, the 9737 COPO option or better known as the Yenko Sports Car Conversion Option, making this Chevelle a "Double" COPO.
The Chevelle also features one of the most unique and stunning Yenko Color options, Garnet Red on a Black interior. Even the more plentiful Yenko Camaros were not available in this color. The restoration started with an extremely original and sound Yenko Chevelle. The "every nut and bolt " frame off restoration task was entrusted to the legendary Micky Hale of North Coast Rods http://haleperformance.com/.
Since its recent completion, the car was debuted at the 10th Anniversary Yenko Super Car Reunion, in Collinsville, Illinois and soon photographed for a major muscle car magazine, "Chevy Rumble", where it was a feature article with a Centerfold pictorial. It was also recently shown and judged at the Chevy Vette Fest National in Chicago Illinois, where it was awarded the coveted Gold Spinner Award, earning 980pts out of 1,000!
Prestigious publications such as the 'Robb Report' written about the prominence and collectability of Yenko Chevelle's. This special Yenko was recently acquired from a very prominent Super Car collection, where it has received nothing but the best care . It has not been driven and shows no wear and tear.

This car is fully Documented by its chain of owner ship and copies of titles. The correct Yenko Stewart Warner 8,000rpm Tachometer and 2 5/8ths gauge set monitor the engines vital statistics.
