1965 Plymouth Belvedere I A-990 Hemi Re-Creation Coupe

Built as accurately as humanly possible! Started with a rust free California desert Belvedere I body. Completely disassembled every single part, nut and bolt, blasted, repaired, painted and assembled with all new moving parts to a better than new factory standard. This car is a re-creation of a very rare and fast Mopar that was barely street legal and could beat anything that came against it at the time.
Approximately 200 originals were built with ROI-A-990 sales code. A 426 Hemi: 727 automatic, no radio, no heater, no rear seat, no undercoating, no arm rests, no dome light, one windshield wiper, one sun visor, fixed rear windows, fixed aluminum seat brackets, and heavy duty battery in trunk for better traction. It had the lightest carpet, door panels and seat material available at the time.
Finished in PPG over a flawless California desert rust free body. A 426 Hemi engine with Barton aluminum heads built to 10.8: 1 compression ratio, a cam with 566-548 lift with twin four barrel holleys on aluminum cross ram intake with rare and correct chrome air cleaner on top. Dyno tested at 721 horsepower. Dyno sheet is on the dashboard.
Car comes complete with: 727 automatic with 3000 RPM stall speed, Dana 3:55:1 positraction rear-end, Milodon 8 quart oil pan with high pressure oil pump, Master-lube pre-lubrication oiler system to prevent dry engine start damage, TTI headers into a 3" stock exhaust system, Holley electric pusher fuel pump and pressure regulator, MSD Electronic ignition, Aluminum radiator with electric cooling fans, Front disc brakes - drum rears with new 9" wide rear wheels, Heavy duty Mopar battery in trunk, Trunk mounted kill switch as required by N.H.R.A., All new interior including trunk, jack, tools, and spare as it would be delivered, Rare original factory air cleaner, and many rare and correct Mopar brochures, manuals, books, and articles printed in 1965 are in the trunk. Test miles only since completion.
