This recently restored, award-winning 1974 V-12 E Type, provides the best of everything ever offered in a classic Jaguar roadster. This last and final Series 3 version of the E-type provides unmatched performance in handling, fine-tuning and the ultimate in improvements that evolved into a classic Grand Tourer with presence. A legendary beauty, equipped with the largest, most powerful V-I 2 engine, this 1974 model XKE Jaguar benefited from the final series production updates, while still retaining the sensuous lines so admired by collectors of this classic marquee. The specifications for the final year production of this rare classic: 272bhp, 5,343cc (326 C.I.) dual overhead cam V-12 with four side draft Stromberg carburetors, full synchro four-speed manual transmission, four-wheel independent suspension and four-wheel disc brakes. This beauty provides an extremely COLD blowing AC kept cool by an oversized aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Having power steering and power brakes, this is the most powerful, most reliable, easy to drive and most desirable XKE to own and enjoy of all the E Type Jaguars.
Having garnered numerous awards and accolades, this specific XKE features exceptional fit and finish, along with the highest level of quality workmanship and mechanical performance. Complete with a prestigious show pedigree, the most recent being a 99 point 1st in Class at the 2007 JCCA - "Saloons in the Old West" a judged competition in Phoenix, Arizona. This XKE was built in February 1974 and sold to a lady in Scottsdale Arizona who enjoyed 40,000 miles of fun over 28 years. In 2002 this XKE was purchased by the infamous Jaguar collector & renowned JCNA National Judging Chairman, Dennis Eynon to be painstakingly restored to exacting standards with the exception of a few upgrades to further improve its drivability and enjoyment.
Today this Jaguar maintains its original matching numbers drivetrain and continues to impress anyone who has the pleasure of driving it.
