Tribute reproduction of the 1957 Ecurie Ecosse Le Mans winning car This exceptional 1957 LeMans winning Ecurie Ecosse D-Type recreation was performed by one of America's leading Jaguar restoration firms - Predator Performance in Tampa, Florida. This is Predator tube chassis #002 of 10 manufactured, the frame is a tube ladder design for racing, with an aluminum center monocoque, competition roll bar,16" alloys with racing slicks. The engine is a Jaguar 4.2 litre twin cam, w/ triple Webers, Dry-Sump, with over 250 bhp @ 5800 rpm. The gearbox is a 5-speed all-synchro T5, able to exceed speeds of 160mph!. The suspension has a fully adjustable coil-over instead of a torsion-bar. Handling and performance exceeds the original D-type s with many modern performance upgrades. The exterior is painted Ecorse Blue. The interior is laid out as per the original 57 Competition D-Type, seats in grey Connolly leather. 10 years of Historic Racing and SCCA racing history as an actual D-Type at: Sebring, Daytona, Road Atlanta, Walter Mitty Mid-Ohio tracks. It is unheard of for a replica to be acknowledged as a true Jaguar D-Type for Historic race events! Comes with HSR /SCCA Logs books, excellent running machine, motor has only with 2 hours run time. Put it in your collection, showroom, race or have fun running it on the roads. Super car looks with modern mechanicals. Ready for racing and is very street-able as well.
