Vintage Speedster is considered one of the foremost factories that build reproduction cars. The 356 Speedster is considered one of the most classic Porsches and this replica brings back all of the memories of the 1950's but at a far less cost with the same beauty. This is a rare air-conditioned model. The engine is a high performance 19 15cc with twin Kardon carburetors and dual exhaust as opposed to the standard 1600cc that most replicas have. The engine is a VW engine, which was completely new in 2004 (not a rebuilt) and now has only 4200 total miles. The car is built on a 1965 VW chassis and because of this, the car qualifies as a vintage car for licensing and insurance with lower rates. It is also exempt from emission testing. The Speedster is painted in original Porsche creme color. The interior and top are both an authentic Porsche tan, which along with the dashboard gauges and creme Porsche steering wheel, give the car a very authentic "1957 Look".
