One of the most famous of the limited-edition light-weight Dodge and Plymouth drag cars was the National Champion 1964 Dodge named "Color Me Gone" tuned by Dick Branster and driven by Roger Lindamood. Tens of thousands of plastic model kits of this car were sold to model builders. Chrysler first equipped thses cars with a 426-cid max wedge engines (identififiable by the dual hood intakes), then shifted to "King Kong" 426-cid Hemis (single hood intake).
