Description:

1952 Jaguar Mark VII Deluxe Saloon
This car was purchased from its original owner in 1960 by Harry S. Exline. An extensive mechanical and cosmetic restoration was completed in 2001. Mr. Exline intended to do some serious touring in the car after restoration, so he stiffened up the suspension, had Avon Racing radial tires installed, disc brakes replaced the drum units in the front wheels, and an aftermarket stereo sound system and an air conditioner rounded out the creature comforts. This Mark VII is the Deluxe model with factory-installed radio, and heater/defroster; the four-speed manual transmission, pull-back sunshine roof, and the 101 mph yop speed were all standard. Mr. Exline recently gifted the car to the Blackhawk Museum.
