1969 JAGUAR E-TYPE 4.2 LITRE ROADSTER What can be said about the Jaguar E-Type that has not already been said. Not since the launch of their XK 120 had the World seen such phenomenal beauty and power in a motorcar. The E-Type or XKE as it was known over here was the ‘must have’ car of the sixties and it was not surprising, 141 miles per hour, 0 – 100 miles per hour in just 17 seconds and all for under £2,000. This was less than half the price of its performance stable mates. This particular example was restored by a Jaguar specialist in the United Kingdom adhering rigidly to the original specification.
